None of this data leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
We use PostHog for anonymous, aggregated usage analytics. This helps us understand which features are used and improve the app. PostHog collects:
No personally identifiable information is sent to PostHog. You can opt out by disabling analytics in Settings.
Sourdough Journal offers a one-time lifetime purchase ("Sourdough+"). Payments are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase status is verified locally via Apple's StoreKit framework.
If you attach photos to your feed logs, those images are stored locally in the app's sandbox. They are never uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, the photos are deleted with it.
If you enable feed reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
Sourdough Journal is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Any material changes to this policy will be communicated via an app update. The latest version is always available at this URL.
